The Heather Hirsch Academy is proud to offer this mini-course exclusively for healthcare professionals (DOs, MDs, PAs, NPs, and Pharmacists):
Women's health education has focused on healthcare professionals' knowledge and attitudes around reproductive health. Menopause and midlife health comprise a significant portion of women's health, and training is severely compromised. Education on osteoporosis is insufficient to address the needs of women at risk for bone loss and bone fractures. Join us in this course with Dr. Kristi Tough DeSapri, a national leader in the field of osteoporosis and menopause. Understand risk factor assessment and diagnosis of postmenopausal osteoporosis. Recall evaluation and workup for postmenopausal osteoporosis. Manage FDA-approved medications commonly used to treat and manage osteoporosis. The revolution in women's midlife care is only just beginning. Are you ready?
